July 23, 2013 (San Diego) – Jamul resident Bill Geppert has been named to the board of directors of LEAD San Diego.
Geppert serves as vice chair of the Malin Burnham San Diego Center for Community Engagement and chair of its Leadership Council. Previously, he headed Cox Communications in San Diego from 1995 until his retirement in 2011. Very involved in the community, Geppert is serving as president of the 2013 San Diego Bowl Game Association. He has been named YMCA Civic Leader of the Year and the San Diego Business Journal’s Business Person of the Year. Geppert is former chair of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. He received his B.A. from University of South Florida and has completed Stanford’s Executive Program.
